Notice of Preliminary Determination

On September 6, 2016, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), pursuant to subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), made a preliminary determination of dumping with respect to certain gypsum board originating in or exported from the United States of America, imported into Canada for use or consumption in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

The goods in question are usually classified under the following Harmonized System (HS) classification number:

Provisional duties will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after September 6, 2016.
