Notice of Initiation of Investigation

Ottawa, June 8, 2016

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated an investigation on June 8th, 2016, under the Special Import Measures Act respecting the alleged injurious dumping of certain gypsum board originating in or exported from the United States of America, imported into Canada for use or consumption in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories. The investigation follows a complaint filed by CertainTeed Gypsum Canada Inc. (Mississauga, Ontario).

The goods in question are usually classified under the following Harmonized System classification number:
